Kia ora

My name is Paula Marrah and I am a Learning Support Coordinator (LSC) based at Mataura School. I work at Mataura, East Gore, Gore Main and Te Tipua Schools. I have been the Learning Support Coordinator since Term Two 2021. 

I live in Invercargill with my husband Chris. Chris drives trucks for DT Kings. We love to spend time in our caravan.

Learning Support Coordinators are advocates for their ākonga whānau. As Learning Support Coordinator I have been able to help my schools, teachers and students with many things. I have done referrals, investigated alternative programmes and worked with students to help develop their confidence in Maths and Literacy. I also have the privilege to help ākonga when they are moving to new schools.
