About Paula
Kia ora, my name is Paula Marrah and I am a Learning Support Coordinator (LSC) based at Mataura School. I have been Learning Support Coordinator since Term Two 2021. My other schools are Te Tipua, East Gore and Gore Main School.
Until the end of Term One 2021 I was teaching in a Year Two and Three class at Mossburn School. I was a Teacher at Mossburn School for 19 years. During this time I taught a variety of levels from New Entrant to Year Four.
I live in Invercargill with my husband Chris and our black labx, Zazz. Chris drives trucks for DT Kings. We love to spend time in our caravan. I love to read and knit.
As Learning Support Coordinator I have been able to help my schools, teachers and students with many things. I have done referrals, investigated alternative programmes and occasionally worked with students to help develop their confidence in Maths and Literacy.
I also invite Whānau to meetings and follow up on these meetings to check their tamariki are making progress.
If you need to contact me please call or email me during my work hours which are Monday to Friday 8am to 5.00pm. I am looking forward to working with you this year.
Kindest Regards
Paula Marrah
